Giant or Boardman Full Sus choice

Hi,
Sorry about posting another which bike thread, but I've started thinking about a full sus bike (after a trip to Giant to pick up unrelated kit), they had last years Giant Trance on offer at just under £800 and after a quick look on the internet I can get a Boardman Team Full Sus 2014 for around the same price does any of these stand out as the better bike or are there any others I should be looking at? I'm happy to wait longer if adding more cash would buy a noticeably better bike but the Trance is the last 2014 available if I want the offer (reduced from £1299).
Thanks for any pointers.

The Boardman has a better fork but the Giant has a much better frame. The Boardman frame isn't bad but the Giant's is very good, just let down by that Fox Evo fork.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Hi,
Thanks for that info, The Giant Trance on offer has SR Suntour forks

How does that compare?

I would definitely buy the Trance in that case then. The Suntour Epicon is a good fork. I would even buy that over the higher spec Trance.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
