Hei!

I'm going to Ayia Napa(Sandy Bay) in late july, and I want to rent a road bike. But I'm having a hard time finding a rental shop. Do you have any recommendations? Is there any rental shops close to Sandy Bay?

Thank you very much! Now it's 2 weeks of cycling in Cyprus - without GPS. Can be fun :D

JULY.?? I trust you are an early riser? I went for a family wedding a couple of years back - managed to smuggle my bike along, but never got caught out after noon, and that was MAY! Expect temps to hit 40 degC in the afternoons!
If you can get the bike over to the Troodos mans, it's considerably cooler up there but very tough climbs. Also Famagusta worth a detour - take your passport!
If Wales was flattened out, it'd be bigger than England!

Some great climbs! Enjoy I've got some routes on my strava should you want any suggestions. You don't tend to see many other cyclists though so take enough kit to feel comfortable for a mechanical/puncture.

I rode in May as well and it was hot, just keep stopping to top up the water bottles at the many cafes on the road
