Just in – Verenti Technique Claris

Guys, we've got a new road/commuter bike into the office that we reckon might be one of the best beginners' bikes around. It's the Verenti Technique Claris. What do you think about it? It costs £400 but you can find it for even less, and we're impressed by what you get for that.
Reckon there's a better value bike out there? We're not sure there is. (Will update this thread with the link to the story on the main site once it publishes; review soon.)

£300 at the moment, but £20 off anything over £200
And use your British Cycling discount for another 10% off
Then pay with vouchers at 10% off

Which is a decent amount of bike for very little money0 -
The Merlin PR7 looks like similar value. Currently £375.

I'm interested in how you can find it for less when Verenti are Wiggle's own brand machines which were previously made in partnership with Ridley hence the Ridley owned 4ZA finishing kit on most Verenti's.
Not sure if that remains the case but I'd be very surprised if they were producing their own frames.
Surely Wiggle will be the only place selling them so you'll only be able to pick it up cheaper if they discount it or if you have loyalty discount from them.0
