Hi folks,
I'm a long time user of FI Uno S5 bibshorts but I'm looking at getting a new pair.
I was going to go for the Equipe S7 but wondered about the Tiburu which are apparently for the cooler spring and autumn days.
I find in spring that it's too warm for my tights but I can feel cool air through the shorts.
Has anyone got the Tiburu? Are they really just for the spring and autumn? Could they be used in summer as well?
I am talking about a summer in Glasgow!!!
Don't want to feel like they're a waste of money for short period of the year when I could maybe just MTFU and deal with the chill
Cheers

Hi RC I have them and also live in Scotland and I have worn them on cooler summer days(anything between 10-20c really and not really heating up at higher temps) and can say they suit the northerly climate superbly. I had them on more often last year than my regular shorts that I am purchasing another for this year.
I go for all day epics rides(up to 14-16hrs) and find them great for the cool mornings and not uncomfortable when the temperature rises later but feel really smug and comfy when the it cools later in the evening.
Definitely not just for the spring/autumn as the website says.Brian B.0 -
If they're anything like the older version with the waffley fabric (630 or something) then I'd think they are perfect for much of the year up north. My biggest complaint about Assos's winter tights was that my nads would freeze. As someone who prefers shorts at temps much above freezing, keeping the important bits warm is high on my list of priorities.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0

They have the shorts in full winter when I was more interested in cooler spring days!! :?0 -
Ordered these and they arrived today. God, for me they are dreadful. I wear large in Mille. Brilliant. Excellent midriff cut, great straps. These? They're cool weather shorts so why have such a low belly area cut? The legs fit but the grippers are awful on me. I appreciate that they will be better in race position but my Mille are comfortable whatever position I'm in.
Ah well, off to google to see if I can find a large in the old 607's, which I loved. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I really the rate the S7s so shows how subjective the topic is. Assos outlet has the older 607 but not sure which sizesM.Rushton0

Only xl sadly. But, you're right, interesting how for some they work better. I really don't understand why they've cut these low(er) my d.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
