Ok.
I reckon this needs to be heavy on the cheesy AOR and 80's Metal
I'm suggesting AC/DC - Hells Bells to kick us off
(TBH I'm going to be disappointed if Iainf doesn't nail this in one post)

Bon Jovi - Keep the Faith.
Turn that up past 11 on the PA and that hour record is toast...Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
Would playing Bon Jovi - Livin on a prayer....be against the rules by aiding the rider if played when the rider was "half way there".....0

I can tell you from experience that the playing Dutch comedy songs is the "musical" (I used the term losely) equivalent of letting your tyres down when you're knackered.
I have AC/DC's TNT on my turbo tunes. "Peacemaker" by Green Day is a bit niche but a fantastic tempo.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -
Surely you have it all wrong? If the point is to ride a negative split, then hard rock is going to blow that out of the water by subconsciously encouraging you to ride harder than intended. You need something soothing.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0

Surely you need an hour long deep house mix which starts off gently and builds and builds rather than some dubious rock tunes?0

Ah yes, I'd forgotten the age profile of BR, should have clicked when I read AC/DC and Bon Jovi0 -

I'd just give 'em Ministry's "Psalm 69" album, and then find something suitably brutal for the last 15 minutes

Hat to your dad for great choices. I moved from industrial to wierd electronica, so it seems like a natural path to me.
Anyway, there are no better brutal effort tracks than NWO and Jesus Built my Hotrod.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
Slightly early perhaps, but maybe good as an intro then ....

You just need an hour of Rocket From the Crypt on loop. Any Rocket From The Crypt"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

[It's one of those 150 tracks Aphex Twin has thrown onto Soundcloud over the last week - I'm sure somewhere in Welsh Wales BR-afx is enjoying it]
Coldcut Journeys by DJ might work (at least it's interesting)

Liking the ministry references.
Death in Vegas - Aisha works for me... It's a horribly good tune.0 -

The loping yet muscular cadence and trippy climax to this has seen me through a few intense turbo agonies:
