New bike has been ordered and have gone for
The sant Cruz 5010 carbon c in the Orange with the following
Cruz 5010 carbon cc large
RS Pike 140mm
SRAM x01 11 speed group set. 32t front and 10-42t rear
Renthal fatbar carbon 20mm rise 780mm with renthal apex 50mm
Hope headset
Joystick binary feather saddle
Joystick lock on grips
Ks lev integra post and soft paw lever
Hope tech 3 E4 brakes and discs
Hope tech enduro wheelset
Maxxis high roller II 2.3

    That's gonna be one very low bottom gear... a 32-42?? How steep are the hills around where you ride to need that? ;)

    Sounds great though.. I wish I could afford a bike like that...

    A 32 x 42 isnt much different to a 'normal' 22 × 36.

    My bottom is a 27-36... Which I never use - I find going down that low just causes traction issues, which then causes you to start sliding around etc.

    I would probably say that I never go below a 1:1 ratio when riding... Even up the really steep hills round here... :)

    Pick it up Saturday and I have never spent this much on anything let alone a bike but I thought what the hell.
