My fork needs replacing after a nasty off. I love the look of the new genesis disc forks like the one on the fugio but I sinply do not have the finances.
Woud it be possible to do this or woud the geom be all out and farked? Any advice greatly appreciated. For alternative forks that would work nicely. I'm not worried about the front end getting a bit more twitchy as its a bit slack already.
Much thanks in advance.

I have just purchased one of the 2014 Equilibrium Disc frameset with a view to building it up over the next couple of months. The 2014 version has a steel fork/steerer and I have looked into the options to replace that with a carbon version.
Not a lot of choice out there if you are looking for a reasonably priced carbon fork without resorting to the lottery of the Chinese Ebay sellers.
However there may be alloy or steel options
eg The Kinesis Crosslight Disc fork at £71

that does has the aesthetic drawback of still having the canti posts on the fork.
In steel there is the On-One Pompetamine fork from Planet X but it is quite hefty at 1.025kg

or this offering on Ebay if you can live with the coulour

I've bagged a rare pair of Kinesis DC37 forks, rare cause nobody has stock at the moment it seems. Just need to ride out to the shop and collect them but cause of work and the shop closed on Mondays it won't be will next weekend.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
