Just got delivery of my new Golf TDi MkVII and looking to add roof bars

What is difference with the Airobar and square bars?

Is it justifiable for the extra cost?

The aero bars are more aerodynamic and therefore quieter (less wind noise). I've never had a problem with the square bars though, might treat myself to aero ones mind as they look better :D

on several different makes the aero or wing bars have a different mechanism for attaching what ever racks your putting on them. uses a t bolt in a slot rather than clamping round the bar, so make it easier to change racks if using the roof bars for different activities. not a major thing, but can be a pain in the arris swapping form mtb to road rack to roof boxes etc
