Upgrade from 160mm to 203mm brakes

Hi, I am wanting to upgrade my brakes from 160mm to 203mm and I don't know which adapter to purchase. I have purchased new shimano slx brakes and XT rotors. Could you tell me which adapter to purchase. I have included an image of my forks.

The fork mount is IS standard, so you are looking for a IS to post mount for 203mm discs adaptor.

Why you want to go that big?

Probably your forks can't handle that much....

Hi, thanks for the link. I got the rotors and brakes as a gift. I was wondering how do you connect this as it is long and I need one for front and back

There's a very good chance the kind of frame that has that fork won't fit a 203mm disc on the rear. The same again though, you just need a 203mm IS->PM (rear) adapter.

To give you an idea I am tall and weigh about 100kg. My xc MTB with XT brakes and 180mm XT rotors has no problems stopping me on even the longest steepest decents. It also has QR wheels.

Those will probably be fine.
