Evening
Is the above going to be a problem to source? Brief checks at Merlin and CRC show lots of compact but only Q Rings at £150 a pop for 53/39.
Thank you!

Recognition at last Matthew, well done!, a justified honour

Top stuff - cheers guys, much appreciated.
Almost tempted to run a 63 just for comedy value.
As: being of near use is far, far better than most of the no use I encounter on a daily basis ..........Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

The 63t is sold out there and is pricey (not because that shop is pricey, but because its a 63t).
What front mech would you use to handle that? I have never seen or used a front mech that goes above 54t I am sure.
Don't give me ideas. I only just got a 52-38-24 chainset working properly with a 11-32t.
It makes the 50-39-30 + 12-25t I started out on look positively "useless". Well it was for me because I could not ride up one single hill in the lowest gear. Unless every ride was to become a HIIT session. :roll:0 -
I've just gone onto semi-compact on one of my bikes (52/36), and fitted Rotor NoQ rings0
