Anybody done the Eden Valley Epic Sportive? How did you rate it?

Thinking about doing it on 22nd March, looks a nice 60 mile route. £20 seems a fair price, but from what I can see all you get is biscuits and cake at a mid-way feed station. No way I can eat £20 in cake!

Yeah, you can't beat the Colomba Sportives, excellent value, great routes, the best feed station and post-ride food and all for £20 with most money going to CHUF charity...

    ...Just fancy trying something different.

  • Sounds as though you need to enter an audax. More value from the ride.
  • I did an Epic sportive a few years back, the Autumn Epic in Wales. One of the best events I have done in the UK... excellent course, good enough feed zones and a free hot meal at the end

Yep, got a couple of Audax's lined up, all depends what I can fit in when I'm at home.

    Sounds good Ugo

Did it today, and it didn't disappoint! Probably the best all around value sportive we have done in the UK!

Unbelievable how much food was on offer at the feed station, and super post-ride food of a baked potato, choice of filling and some salad.

    Great organisation and marshalling! Recommended!
