Getting fed up with my JoeBlow Sport. Have changed the rubber seals in the valve head but still having issues with gripping the valve when pumping air.
Whats the best track pump.. I dont like these double headed ones .. never going to use it with anything else but presta.
I'd rather have an over engineered solution.

Not had that issue with my Joe Blow Pro but the single-sided head has taken chunks out of my palm when the lever has snapped down and trapped skin between the lever and housing like a pair of scissors
What about Lezyne? They have screw-on hoses (which I hate - reminds me of Dunlop valves when I was a kid - and they unscrew valve stems too) but at least you don't have the issue you describe.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -
The mechanics at the velodrome use the sks rennkompressor, apparently the only one that doesnt fall to pieces with alot of use0

I have a Lezyne floor drive, screw on head so no issues with sealing etc. only about £35 from Wiggle and a massive upgrade on the cheapo £15 one I had before.0

Just punk the pump if it's the head that's the problem.
Turn it into a Silca with either of these and a jubilee clip...

If you get the silver one you can also get this for Disc Wheels...

Or if you fancy Lezyne get either of these hoses and head combos...

SJS are great for this kind of stuff, plenty of other pages of results with choices to browse through...

Cycling Weekly this week has a review of some track pumps (at work so can't remember which won sorry), worth checking out.0

I own this very pump. Looks horrible black and orange thing but it has been going strong for 6 years without a single hiccup. Very light and can take a bash or two. Excellent bit of kit, but the hose is a pain to stow properly - thats my only complaint with it.0
