Chainring advice

I have a FC-M545 chainset.

I need a new chainring because the 36t ring has got worn out.

I would like 36t or 38t.

Which products can I buy?

Any with the same BCD.

Running it as a double or single?

Any with a 104 bcd. If you have more than one ring it needs shift ramps as well.
There are loads to choose from.
