Layer, layer, layer - why treat your hands any different to the rest of your body? I'd recommend lobsters - I think even Assos can be had from the outlet shop for £25 - they provide even a reasonable degree of rain/sleet protection and sure much easier to dry than heavily insulated single gloves.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0

I have always really suffered cold hands in winter but recently bought some Sealskin Extra Cold Winter gloves and they are absolutely amazing - completely windproof, waterproof (although not tested that yet) and have been perfectly warm down to -2 for a 3hr ride - not even a hint of cold fingers despite feet and other parts suffering. Wont hesitate to buy more!
These are the bad boys - although I got them from Sports Pursuit for much less than this price...

Everyone is different, so it's hard to say what works but Gore gloves have always worked well for me.

I asked this question recently and after much researching I've went for the Rapha deep winter gloves.
On sale at the minute (but still dear!) ....but they get generally fantastic reviews and I've been through so many gloves with my hands still freezing (sealskinz included) that I don't mind paying for the right equipment that will do the job properly.
They should be arriving on friday, so ill let you know what they are like once I give them a test at the weekend.0 -
Best gloves I have ever owned for when it is really cold are Specialized Sub Zero0

The Rapha are ok but I was using a thin layer underneath as well. The Assos early winter glove is nice when teamed up with an inner layer but everyone runs different temp. wise. The Craft Siberian seems to be popular and the Spesh sub-zero's. Generally layering is the best option imoM.Rushton0

Rapha Deep Winter + merino liners or Castelli Estremo0
