Focus Cayo 2015 vs Izalco 2011 (frame only)

Hi,
Focus has offered me delivering a brand new Cayo 2015 frame for my Izalco Tream Katusha 2011 frame.
I went to my local bike dealer with a paint crack just above the BB, but nobody has been able to find out whether it's only a paint crack or if the carbon layers are damaged as well. This is why Focus brings me this offer.
However the new Cayo frame seems more comfortable and weighs less than my current Izalco frame, I doubt if I will like its geometry (it seems less 'racy'). Another thing is that I like the look of my Izalco much more than the new Cayo. My question is, is it a good deal if I accept Focus' offer and change the frames? I don't quite understand why Focus brings me this offer actually, since I'm not the first owner and Team bikes are never delivered with warranty.

Stunning frame that gives a cracking and surprisingly comfortable ride, I had one for a year or so and they're faultless. Why did I get rid of it? BB30.0

The 2015 Cayo is an all new frame and seems on paper, to be a decent step up from the previous generation model I have (which I highly rate). I've not checked the 2015 model, but the old Cayo had the same frame geometry as the Izalco, so you shouldn't have any concerns there. In terms of ride, they are pretty similar, with the Cayo having a more compliant ride but giving a slightly less direct feel than the Izalco. It has a PF30 bb btw.0

Do you get to keep the Katusha frame ? Would be nice, but the Focus offer is generous.
I compared Cayo and Izalco Max geometry last week and, for my size, there is very little in it.Bozman wrote:Stunning frame that gives a cracking and surprisingly comfortable ride, I had one for a year or so and they're faultless. Why did I get rid of it? BB30.All the gear, but no idea...0 -
Thank you guys for making my choice a bit easier.
I've told my local bike dealer to accept the offer so I suppose that Focus will deliver the Cayo soon.0
