Just signed up for this, 25th April.

Anyone else doing it?

May be able to offer a lift up from Palma.

    Yes, it's open roads. Although going through Palma there is a police escort, cyclists are asked to form into groups for that reason.

    Yes, its open roads after the first section of 10 miles or so which is closed to vehicles - Muro, Port Alcudia, Alcudia and through Port Pollenca, then they are open again.

    Also if you are lucky or unlucky enough to be in the final group of the 312 racing for the finish, you have a police escort helping you through red lights and over roundabouts from Arta to the end (27km) but the roads are not closed.

    Having booked the flights, I thought no rush to sign up, then saw their latest video from last week saying only 500 places left, so thought I should sign up now! All done.

    Did it last year, good ride. A lot of lazy Spaniards looking for a free wheel after Palma, so be sure to scream at them until they either take a turn or go away.

    I had planned on doing it then when I found out how expensive this years family holiday to Florida is going to be I put all thoughts out of my mind, that was until just now when I caved.

    I'm in for the full 312 all I need to do now is get fit lose a lot of weight and oh yes heal my broken arm :roll:
