Just found out my bike was stolen from a gated yard where they had to walk right past a load of office windows.

Here are the details:

Bike stolen from Lancaster some time between 8am and 3pm. It is believed to have happened about 9:30 to 11:00 but that is conjecture.

Bike is a 2013 version Specialised Crosstrail Sport Disc in black/grey with red detailing in XXL size (the largest size). It has a Topeak Super Tourist DX rack for discs in black. It has a Burley trailer hitch on it and a Hamax bracket for a Siesta rear child seat. On the rack is a Cateye mount for a 3 LED light and on the front is 2 Cateye mounts for EL135 and a Volt 300. Plus a mount for a Cateye bike computer. I have one black elite alloy bottle cage and one cheaper one in silver (bought for function not looks). behind one of the bottle cages is a bracket for a Topeak pump. I have SKS mudguards (full length) fitted on them in a black colour.

All in all I reckon its about £700 to replace it with new. Everything on it is new and I got it in 2013 about September so it is in good nick. I got it marked and registered with the police in the summer so with luck I'll be able to identify it if it gets found. We believe that it could have been caught on the CCTV of a local business they would have gone past.

It is my commuter, leisure bike and what I use to get out with my 2 year old son. He loves being on the back and we were planning on touring with him in the summer. I can not afford to replace it when you think the extras will add up to about £700 replacement value. I have no roadworthy bike now. Toe-rags! I know it will be sold for a tenner or so in a pub in town somewhere. Fingers crossed I spot someone riding it in town.

It has been registered with the police and security marked with a dark, hard to spot code number on the frame in a less obvious location. It has also been registered with Specialised although that won't help me.

If anyone sees it online anywhere please PM me.
