Cube Reaction GTC SL v Felt Six 3

Hello,
I had the unfortunate experience of having my MTB robbed recently. It was a Cube Reaction GTC Pro 2013 26" and really loved the bike, light, responsive, good enough group set but great frame etc. In the market for a new one but would like some advice. I can pick up a Felt Six 3 2013 for 1,400 Euro but unsure of the complete SRAM group set or I can can pick up a Cube Reaction GTC SL 2104 for about 1,600 Euro which is predominately Shimano. The latter is lighter at 10.35Kg which is light but I am unsure of the 27.5" wheels as I have always ridden 26". The review here is not so good for the Cube. Cannot find a review for the Felt which is 26" and lightly heavier at 11.35Kg. I have always been a 26" rider with a more XC focus, moderate descents etc. Any advice really appreciated. Thanks

you are unlikely to feel any difference between 26 and 650b0

I suppose what I am looking for here is some practical advice, the Felt comes with SRAM x7 & x9 and the Cube comes with Shimano XT. Links here:

far from an experts opinion but i love the Cube, very nice and i'm sure you cant go wrong with XT0

The Felt has a better fork but everything else is better on the Cube so i would go for the Cube.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Trying not to be biased as I have one but go for the Cube, the Felt is nice but it's a shame they have used a decent fork and cut corners with low spec brakes and wheels0

Cheers folks. I reckon I will go for the Cube. Have owned Kona's, Scott's and Trek's over the years and have to say my 26" Cube was a lovely machine. Re-read the review and noticed it was for the Pro and they do say that the SL addresses most of the issues raised. However the fork and wheels could be better… but in time they can be replaced. Thanks again for all the responses.
