Px RT-57 vs Ribble R872 vs Canyon Endurance 7 CF

Looking for a new commuter bike and I am torn between these three. On costs, PX wins hands down, however I am not 100% sure of SRAM (I am used to Shimano). I can spec a R872 with Ultegra 6800 and a better wheelset for £1400, and the Canyon is also £1400, but has a stupidly long build time (March apparently?!)

Logic pushes me to the PX due to cost; any others I should consider, or is the R872 worth the extra?

Canyon CF 7.0 is "only" £1150 with postage.

Alternatively there's this in the same sort of price range - http://www.dolan-bikes.com/road/road-bi ... -5800.html

I'm looking in the same price bracket and can't decide between them (or maybe stretch to a CF 8.0)
  • That is with the 105 5800 it is that price? That Dolan is real food for thought, with Ultegra it's a good price, but maybe I should drop to 105 5800 to get it closer to £1000.

If I am right in saying, 5800 vs. 6800 is closer than 5700 vs 6700? Wondering if the extra expense is really worth it to push up to 6800, after all will be mainly for commuting

Must admit I am moving towards the R872 as I like its looks. Although the Dolan looks nice, not a massive fan of colourful frames, and the RT-57 is good value with SRAM, but I'd rather stick to Shimano. Canyon does look nice but if I ordered I am not keen on waiting 2-3 months for one.

Not in a rush so will see how it pans out, but would probably get the R872 with 6800 and Fulcrum Racing 5s (miss my old set, they are bullet proof for commuting!)
