LBS are running a promo for a complete fitted set of XT785s with rotors and I'm tempted to replace these on my spicy for my T1S'

Anyone got experience of both? Worth bothering with?

Shimano XT brakes are the go to if you can afford them otherwise you go to SLX or Deore. No experience with your Formula T1S. I have deore on both my bikes and they simply work. XT upgrade for the Bronson maybe next year.

I've just replaced my formula T1's with shimano zee. Formulas were great for the first few years but over the past 12 months they became increasingly temperamental. The zee have great power(better then the T1) and more importantly very good modulation (similar, if not better then than the T1) they are heavier though. Went for the see over the xt as the xt felt a little 'grabby' in it's power delivery and didn't have the modulation I wanted. Only had them on a few rides and still getting used to them, but very pleased so far. Bikediscount.de is doing then for £135 a set
