seat post clamp

hi all. advise needed I need to replace my seat post clamp. post is 31.6 according to spec details but I can only find on crc 31.8 clamps will this do the job or does it need to be exact. thanks

If your post is 31.6, then typically you need a 34.9 clamp as it is the seat tube not the post which you are clamping

But it should be marked on the current clamp.

Some of my bikes have odd sizes, one in particular only available from Kona in QR, although the seatpost is bog standard 27.2

Whatever it is, just don't buy a Hope clamp. The only clamp i have tried which works really well was made by Salsa.

Or tell us what the frame is and year and we might be able to tell you what size you need.
