Ultegra Di2 rear mech
Hi all,
Before I go to a bike shop to get this sorted, I thought I would ask your for help.
I have a Canyon Al SLX with Ultegra Di2. Recently my rear mech hanger broke. No crash, occurred whilst I was cycling uphill. After the incident, I ordered a new hanger, attached it and attached the rear mech.
Unfortunately, now I am not able to properly adjust the gearing. There are 32 positions with the Di2 rear mechs (16 each way). My rear mech is too close to the wheel, so even when I set it into the furthest outside position, I still don't get clean shifting.
So my questions are:
- Can you install the rear mech incorrectly, i.e. I did something wrong?
- Could this be the result of damage due to the broken hanger? If so, how do I check for that?
Any other advice welcome.
Thanks,
Viktor

Your hanger alignment may be off. Check that (or have your LBS do it) using a hanger alignment tool. There is no guarantee that a new hanger will be straight (or, more accurately, correctly aligned in *your* frame).0
