Rim brake wheel on disc brake set up
Apologies if this has been asked before (i did some searching) or is an very silly question as I'm new to the disc brake world.
I am building up a commuter/winter/cx bike with disc brakes. I would like to put it on the turbo instead of my good road bike.
I have a turbo wheel which I swap between bikes (also put my TT on the turbo). Are there any issues using a non disc wheel? obviously braking is not an issue. Will the cassette line up or the calipers get in the way?

Presuming that the hub is the same width there are no issues. But I would put a travel spacer between the pads so they don't close up on you if hydro.
Disc hubs tend to be 135mm O.L.D and none disc hubs 130mm"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

It's vanishingly unlikely that the wheel will fit. Disc frames have a different axle length, and compressing the QR on a 130mm wheel in a 135mm frame will likely damage the frame.0
