For a group/club CTC or BC

After some research between meetings (or in dull meetings) i've decided to make my little cycling group into something a bit more than a FB page and to reduce the risk of something coming back at me and someone else personally.
Beyond the blurb on the sites about BC having discounts and some helping hand with websites, does it make a difference with who I chose to register the club?
Will also register with the CTT but that is just for 2 of us and coming from our pocket. I've run Uni clubs before so the admin side doesn't overly bother me it is just whatever offers the best/easiest method
Any info/views welcome. Going to revisit all the documents tomorrow when i don't have university regulations all over my head
Thanks

Depends on whether you are racing or not? If road racing or CX and looking to get league points certain regions insist that riders are members of BC affiliated clubs.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
