Back in November i got a 2006 Marin Northside Trail Frame for free, so decided to build it up as a small project.

As can be seen the colour scheme was hideous, so i cleaned the frame up to re-spray it. Removing the original headset and bottom bracket.

I decided on 'Nissan Blue' as the colour scheme, so after cleaning up the frame, i gave it 2 coats of Grey Primer and 3 of the Nissan Blue.

After sourcing some new and used parts from various forums. Including 9-Speed Deore Shifters and Avid Juicy 3's.

I built the frame up.

Can't see the images through the Co. firewall, but if it's an alloy frame, I hope you used an etch (acid) primer, normal primer doesn't adhere properly to aluminium.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

I honestly can't remember what primer i used, it would either be This from halfords or one suitable for painting stoves & flue systems.

But so far there doesn't seem to any problems with the paint coming away or bubbling, but if it does at least it gives and the chance to faff about again :D
