Just wondering if anyone who has managed to replace a snapped lever in the past, could possibly tell me how the return spring hooks up as I'm struggling at the moment.

thanks (from man without a bike)

  • I have a set of APEX shifters with a broken lever so would also be really interested in this one if anyone knows?

How hard was it to dismantle Jason - any special tools needed that wouldn't be in a normal home mechs toolbox?

it actually quite simple and took me around 10mins to dismantle, you just need a 5mm allen key to loosen your cables and a small screwdriver(jewellers size) to take the side cover off so has to give you more space to work in.

Normally i take pictures of every step i take but didn't on this occasion and unsure where the spring hooks now

Let me know if you need the eBay link of the seller i got my Force one from
