Returning to Taunton Racecourse, Somerset for the second year www.TauntonFlyer.com
The Taunton Flyer Sportive takes place on Saturday 9th May 2015 and offers a choice of two routes, the Dakota (100 km) or the Spitfire (60 km). This is a great, early season Sportive that takes in the Blackdown Hills but also has some great flat sections of open road, ideal for getting a real good tempo going.
Our feed zones are legendary, offering a selection of over 30 different sweet and savory items including High Five Energy Bars & Gels (with and without Caffeine). We even have a Gluten Free section for those who require it!
The event is electronically timed (including splits) and there are Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal Standards, with a finishers medal, t-shirt and goody bag given to all finishers.
This is a fantastic ride through the beautiful countryside of Somerset & Devon. The routes are fully signed and marshaled and we have support vans, rider recovery service & medics all on hand to support you should you require.
This event also supports the Armed Forces Charity SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen's Families Association - The longest running military services charity)
