Hi, looking at buying a bike to get out and about and get some miles done this year, will be a mixture of road and hill track roads, I have been looking at bikes and there is a LOT of choice out there now  !!! I have listed the bikes I have narrowed it down to bellow and would appreciate any feedback you may have on them, thanks in advance, Ivan.

Of those, the Rockrider (which is also on the normal recommended list), its the only one there with a proper fork (the rest have no damping, you wouldn't drive a car on a rough road after taking all the shock absorbers off!) - the fork being the most important single component on any mountain bike, the rest of the components are much better as well.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Hi, thanks for the reply, yeah I was leaning towards the Rockrider as I saw it in the list of bikes on here as a good buy, like the look of them too :-)0
