Avid 5 Caliper Retaining bolt rounded

Hi

I have managed to round off the allen head bolt on my Avid 5 brakes which holds the pads and springs in the caliper. If I drill it out or somehow damage the threads when I try to remove it, can I use a split pin ( As Avid 1 ) instead of the allen bolt ?

Also any tips on trying to get the bolt out ( Tried araldite on a hex key, but didn't work )

Get some mole grips round it. Ram in a torx bit

Mmmmm avid 5 brakes.

Is that the juicy 5? The Elixier 5? The Code 5? Or any of there others with a 5 in the name?
