Hi, I would be really grateful for some opinions. I am new to mountain biking having been a keen road biker for a decade. I just purchased a mtb after agreeing to do an off road race across the South downs. After some advice in a shop and test riding I purchased Jamis Dragon Sport 2014 29er.

Tbh they are both pretty similar however if it was the right size and the colour wasn't an issue I would have gone for this. http://www.hargrovescycles.co.uk/sale/m ... -bike.html

Yep, both about equal, and absolutely nothing in it that would make me want to go to the trouble of returning one to get the other.

I'd still have gone for the Jamis. The fork and cranks are nicer on the Jamis.

However that Cube is even better. The components are better (especially the fork) and I know from experience the frame's are actually really quite nice. Not the lightest but they handle great. It's even the right colour
