I've just bought an 11 speed 105 groupset but want to use my old 10sp wheel for turbo sessions... is this a go-er or dead in water? won't be using it often enough to bother faffing about with altering the derailleur or limit screws etc. so can i just pop it on and be conscious of it when I'm shifting? won't be riding hard enough to be anywhere near the big gears, and i can use the turbo resistance to ensure a decent work out. loathe to buy a 2nd wheel for it... but that may be the price of progress.

cheers

Just put it in the bike and try.
You cannot use all gears and shifting will be erratic.

But you won't be able to hear the damage you're doing to the chain and cassette over the noise of the turbo...

Why go to the bother only to scrimp on changing the turbo wheel cassette?
And the people bowed and prayed, to the neon god they made.
