Decent Quick Release for Disc Cross

Built up my own cross using existing parts. I utilised some Hope QRs, and I don't like them, either too stiff or too lose and can fall apart (the threaded bit can untwist at both ends!), and they can bite into your hands when trying to release.
I have a few road ones knocking about and they are not wide enough.
I like the Shimano ones on my road bike/MTB. So that's one option, any others?
Where is the best placed to get Shimano ones from?

Shimano seem to be acknowledged as the best. Not sure where the best place to get them from is though.0

Aye - thanks. Will search the regular shops, just wondering if someone new any one selling them cheap. I presume MTB fit would be right? I.e. wider? The road ones at home are too narrow.0

Yes, MTB ones as you probably have 135mm rear spacing. I just had a look on Ebay and there are a few for sale, look at the Deore or XT ones to get the length you need.0

Googling the XT ones and they tend not to come in a set and are expensive for what they are, Deore cheaper and would do they job but seem as rare as hens teeth.
Will try Ebay.0 -
