Missing a tooth

Discovered today when cleaning that my 50 tooth front ring is now a 49.

Havnt noticed this when pedalling.

Will this cause any problems??

    Chainrings are made like this - it aids shifting
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    You can break numerous teeth off chainrings with no ill effects. I snapped one off yesterday that was bent; no problems.
