Anyhoo

Found myself in Edinburgh 30 mins early for my physio at Meadowbank, so remembering it was Mon, which meant Grilled chicken salad wrap for £1.99 I fired into Mac D`s.

Now me being me and the place being empty I shot round the drive through to the window (Boardman CX) and ordered,, Well ! what a palaver.

"Not serving you on that " was the first thing said, which kinda got my back up a little.
Anyroad after mucho explaining and me putting the bike on the floor and standing at the window cash in hand, they eventually served me so I trundled off to the second window where the girl had no idea what all the fuss was about.

Good job I wasn`t on a horse, they might have fainted.

Wrap was ace though, gotta hand it to them there likes. :D
Trek,,,, too cool for school ,, apparently

Boardman took the hour from Obree and you were just across the road from where the old velodrome used to be.
    What did you expect?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Just very low ones from what I can remember of the staff in those places! Not been in a Mac D's for years apart from when I need a shite
"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

  • The wrap is the only edible thing they sell, and I was starving :D

Never thought about the Obree connection, but tbh, the staff looked like they had never seen a bike before never mind ridden one, some seriously chunky asses working there .

Next time make yourself look more like a McDonald's customer by turning up on a BMX made for a 10 year old.

I tried to get a coffee through the drive through window when out on my bike a bit back and they refused out right to serve me there, apparently there is some form of detector for cars that triggers the tills or something.

On the other hand no problem taking the bike in. Only ever buy coffee and water though.
