I would like to have either the Campagnolo Vento or Scirocco wheelset for my Shimano Ultegra equiped bike. Can i just replace the freehub on the new Campagnolo wheel with a Shimano freehub or will this not work?

Why not just buy the wheel with a Shimano freehub to start with? (Don't think the wheelhub is different so the freehubs ought to swap if you must!).

You cannot as far as i know buy Campag wheels with Shimano freehubs and if i,m not mistaken you cannot buy Shimano wheels with Campagnolo freehubs. With most other wheelsets you do have a choice.

Campagnolo do make wheels with Shimano freehubs. To be fair, most are the Fulcrum branded versions but they do sell the Campag branded ones with Shimano hubs as well.

Of course, if you are on 11 speed it doesn't matter as long as you don't mind using a Campag cassette with your Shimano other.
