Pannier rack issue

Hi i would like to fit my pannier rack to my 2014 Giant revolt 1 i use for everyday use to those shops etc.
Issue i have is that the seat stays are about 8cm down from the top of the seat tube so the rack i have ends up leaning forward too much. Im not sure what they are called but I'm guessing i need slightly longer metals bit that go between rack and seat stay. If this is the case where can i get some?
Cheers

I bought different bars for my rack on the new bike off Rose Bikes, either Tubus or Tortec. The seatpost clamp will work if you want to get the top of the rack level.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Very similar problem fitting a Steco rack to my wife's MTB to use a Yepp child seat.
After much pulling out of remaining hair, these from SJS worked perfectly for me: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/thorn-531-rear-rack-stay-190-mm-prod13235/
Unfortunately, showing as out of stock, but I'd suggest giving SJS a ring and they may be able to help.0 -
Tubus rods from Rose Bikes
Straight 240 or 350mm

190mm bent

With postage around £10 IIRC.
Assuming of course your rack is like that in the picture.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
Giant bikes all suffer from low-down seatstay eyelets leading to long, bendy stays.
That one also has high-up dropout eyelets, so the rack is too high: double whammy.
Look for a rack with shorter legs.0
