Cannondale synapse (2014 model split seat tube)

Hi,
Anyone give some views on this? I'm looking at 2014 sram red version but can't seem much info on forums apart from the bike of the year report. Curious about compact size, I ride a Canyon medium with 54.5 TT - the synapse has the same reach as my current ride in a 56 so may have to size up but ideally would like to compare a 54/56 directly. I do have a 120 stem on my canyon btw.
any thoughts/owners in general?
