Light Weight MTB shoes, about £80 budget

Looking for some new MTBs shoes, SPD, will also be used on my road bike and CX bike.

Something light and stiff, a MTB "race shoe"? Can be a summer type, i.e. breathable, not worried about water proofing etc.

Already have some Northwave shoes, wearing out, but been happy with them.

Any thoughts?

NW Scropious is one, but looking for other ideas.

Whatever fits you well. Carbon soles are good for comfort and efficiency.

Good response! Just wondering if there are some highly regarded shoes. Tempted to go down the NW route as they fit well.

I like some of the Mavics too.

I always wear Shimano because they fit me but NW are very good as well.

Ordered some Giro Gauge online, a bit of a gamble but can always exchange them.
