    Yeah, still carry a tube. Some more extreme damage to the tyre can't be sealed so a tube is then necessary.

    Once you've gone tubeless, do you still carry a spare tube? Just in case?
    I'm looking to carry a smaller tool bag and thought I'd ask those in the know :?

    If I'm riding a long way from home/the car, I carry two -

    if you're running tubes, you can always patch your existing ones, so you can get away without a spare, or carry a single spare for the sake of convenience.

    But with tubeless, if the worst case scenario happens and you lose pressure in both tyres, you're gonna need two tubes to get home...

    Some tyre patches are useful as well Park Tyre Patches dont cost much weigh next to sod all and got me home a couple of months back.

  • I'd say "Yay".

    Since converting (£30 at my LBC for them to do it) I have had no punctures of any sort, despite riding over hedge trimmings where the heathland has been attack with a flail. Bramble and hawthorn, bring it on!
