Hi,

I bought the Sora 3503 FD as I believe it is designed for my bikes chainset, 50/39/30, however after installing it it sits at least 3 times the recommended height just to clear the middle chainring. This has resulted in terrible shifting. If I drop it another mm, the top ring can not be reached. :?

I've tried looking at forum posts, youtube videos etc but obviously it "just works" for their set-up with the desired 2mm gap and smooth shifting.....

Any experience of this?

    Can I suggest you post this in the "Workshop" section. I'm sure you will get some useful advice there.

    Yes you need to post this again in the Workshop sub forum. What model FD-3503 is it, band clamp type B or brazed on type F?
