Bike Work Rack - What do you use?

Just wondering what everyone uses to get their bike up in the air to work on it when you don't have a proper bike rack thing to work from?

When inside, I've been using my pull up bar in the kitchen door;

    Ingenious - but - precarious! I used to do similar but invested £30 in a stand in the Aldi cycle promotion sale, worth every penny. The promotions come up regularly by the way.

    I use 2 c-clamps on an exposed ceiling beam (basement, garage, etc.) with a length of rope to lift the saddle and the stem. It gives good access all the way around the bike.
    Also low expense, and no trouble storing when not being used.

    was lucky enough to get a new but discontinued wall mounted bike rack at Halfords for only 50p!

    works a treat.

    (there were actually two of them, lying on the floor, in Halfords, but stupidly I only bought one. I think I must have been in shock :shock: )
