Scott scale vs Felt 7 fifty

Hi All
I'm looking for a bit of help please - I had my Kona Caldera stolen a couple of weeks back and am currently trying to decide on an insurance replacement. The insurance company has recommended a Felt 7 fifty but I'm wondering whether a Scott Scale 760 would be a better bet?
It's been a long time since I've looked seriously at bikes so would appreciate views on what might be the better machine. I have limited choice via the company the insurer are using
Thanks in advance

What usage?
The wiggle link contains a rather wrong Fork spec' (XC30 Pike 160mm if you can believe it!) so I'd pick a reliable source for comparison!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Hi
Apologies, better link below:

Usage will be relatively light but I do like the odd trip to the trails in glentress in Scotland now and again0 -
Have you got a list of suppliers that you can use? There might be something else that is better specced.
Of those two I would go for the Scott. They feel very XC orientated, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing - depends where you ride. It will certainly handle most trails in the UK. For longer rides, I find the Scale frame one of the most comfortable out there.
Unless Felt have changed their frames very recently, I may have classed my Felt frame as 'bombproof' - never would I have used the word 'light'. Uninspiring is probably the kindest word I could use to describe it. The other would be 'clunky'.2007 Felt Q720 (the ratbike)
