10/11 speed chain tools

Hi all,

Does anybody know if a 10 speed chain tool will work on an 11 speed chain, purely for the removal of a link in order to use a quick link in the event of a breakage?

I have just bought home a rather nice Emonda SL6 with Ultegra 11 spd and currently have tools for 105 10 speed in my saddle pack.
