    Yes, Gerrard is an example, yes, he might have been mistreated... but do you know of any multi million pound job where you also get a fair treatment?
    I think it is a bit perverse to feel for a premier league footballer. The financial rewards they get through their career these days for doing really very little are staggering and if they don't get a contract extension or a nice easy transition into management... frankly, who cares... it's not that he'l have to queue at a food bank, is it?
    On the other hand, yesterday there was outrage on the newspapers because some ER doctors get 1,000 pounds a day!... Oh, wait a minute, that's 10 times less than Gerrard gets to kick a ball around a field, innit?
