Hi, cx bike came with cross top brake leavers that I never use. What's the easiest way to remover them without getting all new brake cable outers?

Thanks

It kinda depends on which you have.but as you will need to add cable outer you are looking at a cable change really.

Yes, you could as long as the sizes worked - and it probably would. Would be neater with new outers - the front would be especially easy. Back is sometimes more effort but not hard and not expensive.
I'm left handed, if that matters.

Yes, that's one thing you could do.

I removed mine from a Boardman CX, and fitted some inline adjusters as I didn't want to replace the outers and bar tape at the time as they were in good nick. I will probably do away with them when I have to replace the outer cables.
