got a conference ( < cough > jolly) on the 18th in Nice - I know the race finishes on the 15th - as I keep telling the funders I like to get out early to prepare so going on the 13th .... Just wondering if I can train/ride out on the 14th . Same one two years ago was on the Tirreno- Adriatico route0

Just one snippet so far.
A 200km stage finishes at the 1st cat. Col de Croix de Chaubouret au Bessat (Loire) on the 12th March. The depart the next day (13th March) wiil be from St Etienne heading towards the Ardeche (via the col de la République?).

According to ASO the whole route will be unveiled at a press conference on 3rd February at the General Council of Yvelines, although I suspect much of the detail will be fairly common knowledge by then, especially via the local (French) media.0

Many towns have an Avenue de la République or a Square named La République.
It's a French thing and Europe or Germany have to live with it because it is ingrained within the French Constitution.
That is to say it allows them to "Strike" on behalf of the People. (well some of them)

As you can see, the final TT may be flat... (in the streets of Nice)In French, l'Ardoisier is that guy on his motorcycle who gives the gap between the echappée and the peloton.
