Lots of people have bought aero wheels for 1000 to 2000 monetary units. They only have a 2-4 watt gain.

So why not pick a better lube and get 1-3 watts for almost free?

Depends where your at, if only do club rides and sportives and wear baggy jerseys, then all this stuff is academic or snake oil
But say if a keen TT er, then as they say, every little helps.... jeez people pay 100s just to have a slick number pocket stitched into their skin suit.

See the you tube video of Cancellara meditating in the starthouse before the TT Worlds a couple years back. Almost in a trance, he get up, steps over to his bike and spins the cranks backwards. They continue to spin for 3-4 revolutions. Amazing! Bikes never do that. Oftentimes, a bare crank barely does that.
