Are the new campagnolo rear deraileur's compatable with last year's shifter's

    They are different designs; I'd be surprised if Campag said that they were compatible (even if real life practice proved otherwise).

    The right shifter still does the same job when working the rear mech. It's the left shifter/front mech that has changed.
