Thinking of SRAM force - problem...

Seriously thinking about swapping my group set from 105 to SRAM force 22 so I can get a slightly easier gear now I'm getting slower. Obvious problem is the press fit bottom bracket. I've read on here about an adaptor sleeve to make the GXP spindle fit but can't find one anywhere. Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Or I could just go with 5800 or 6800 with an 11-32 cassette. Tempted by the double tap system, mind.0

Double tap makes it sound a nice light action system, from my experience using Apex it's anything but. Of course Force may be a completely different experience as it's further up the food chain .0

What bike are you fitting it to and what bottom bracket does it have? There are Force 22 cranks for BB30/PF30 and GXP bottom brackets, so I would expect you could get some combination to fit. Have a mixture of Force/Red on 3 of my bikes and have never had any issues with it.0

Defy 3 composite so it's bb86. Just sticking with Shimano seems easier, 5800 seems to get good reviews.0

Dunno about Force 22, but Force 20 is anything but "light", action.
Seems bizarre to undertake a complete group set change just for the sake of wanting to experiment with gear ratios. As previous poster said, why not just get a new 105/Ultegra chainset that has same BCD for both standard and compacts rings?
Unless of course you just want something new and shiny0 -
You KNOW that it's all about the new and shiny! Thinking on, I'll probably stick to 5800. Seems like good bang for the buck and I can make some money back selling off my current group set0

Why are you changing the chain set anyway? Just change shifters, rear mech, chain, cassette.

Tiagra chainset. If I'm going to bling things up it'd be silly not to change it given what ribble et al are selling it all for these days0

It's easy popping out the existing BB and fitting a GXP BB if you have the right tools. If you don't then buy the BB from your LBS and they should fit it for cheap/free.0
