Just a quick post to give some feedback on my experience with German retailer bike24.

Essentially I ordered some schwalbe one tyres about 4 days ago online after cancelling an order with a different retailer who claimed to have them in stock and then on ordering told me I had to wait until March. Well they have turned up today bang on time and I paid in total £57 including postage for 2 - £28.50 each!!!!

Well impressed with the price and the overall service. I would have no qualms using them again.

I think I would have just paid the extra pound each and got them from Wiggle.
  • I presume the OP is talking about tubeless, currently £51.29 on Wiggle and only 23c version.

    Might be wrong though.

Absolutely tubeless - should have been more explicit.

That's good to hear, I'm currently waiting on some bits coming from them (hopefully sometime today). I tend to try and use UK based companies but they had to many items at great prices to resist!

Ordered some bits on 27.12.14; tyres, valve extenders and some SP41 Shimano grease - all much cheaper than any UK retailer and they arrived today.

    Can't say better than that.
  • Got mine today too... on German stuff German sites prices are unbeatable...

I'm pretty sure Rose Bikes retail DT Swiss spokes cheaper than the trade price Madison does to UK shops... 30p per spoke for DT Competition and you can buy singles!

I'm looking for a new helmet. The one I want isn't available in the size / colour I want on most UK sites. The ones that have it aren't discounting it. So bike 24 is over £20 cheaper than anything I can find here. On the strength of this thread I'll go for it!
  • And of course, it's not just the price. It's what happens if something goes wrong. I received a faulty tyre from them. Free return, and refund within an hour of them receiving it back.
